Team Building Part 9

Duplication. I could quote you a dictionary reference, but I don’t think it helps any more than this. It simply means to get your affiliates to do what you do, so that they can achieve the same level of success as you have. Easier said than done, I know. That is what makes network marketing seem so difficult. You cannot make anyone do something they are not interested in doing. So, don’t waste a lot of time with affiliates who do nothing or do not respond to your messages. Accept this a part of building your team and your business. A lot of people get successful because they follow a leader….like you. So if you want them to follow you, then you have to be doing something for them to follow. If you do nothing, they will probably do nothing. If you log in every day and share your experience, they know the type of things they can learn by doing the same thing. Use your stream posts every day, or every other day, to generate activity in your team. Share your teams’ success stories with everyone in your team. Encourage questions. Answer the questions when you are asked. Nothing can be more frustrating to an affiliate when they ask a question, and get absolutely no response. I use images 99% of the time in my stream posts. I create them using Power Point. I believe they generate more interest than just text. If you can, reward your active affiliates with TCredits or Gift Certificates. If you can’t afford much, start off small. Even a $2 GC is worth 102VP to any affiliate who uses them to build their business. Recognizing their efforts is important to them. Read this article on how to become an awesome sponsor in SFI. It is a fantastic guide to anyone trying to create and maintain duplication in their team. Basically, to generate activity in your team, be very active in SFI yourself. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink. But if you never lead them to the water, where are they going to find it when they need the drink? More next time.
