Advertising is one of the main keys to any business. If potential customers don’t know you are out there, you can’t turn them into real customers.
Of course, advertising can be free or paid; the choice is always yours. Whether or not free vs. paid advertising works better at getting active PSA’s is always up for discussion.
For me, I use both. You never know where a great PSA may come from.
To find PSA’s, this is how I advertise.
First, I have an autoresponder. The one I use is Traffic Wave, because it has the same price month after month, no matter how many subscribers you get or how many landing pages you create and advertise.
My landing pages are designed to attract people to sign up for my newsletter. I don’t mention a specific program, but I do offer them the free newsletter. One thing I do ask them is to make sure they confirm their subscription in the email they get. Without that, they won’t get the newsletters that I have.
I create my landing pages so that as soon as someone clicks the submit button on the page they then go to the SFI gateway page. And as soon as they confirm their subscription by clicking the link in the email, they also go to the SFI gateway page.
Once they have confirmed their subscription, I also have an email sent to them, which is the first letter in my newsletter series. I send out several newsletters automatically over the next few days, which always talk about the SFI program, and the benefits to them that they would get if they sign up with me.
I advertise my landings pages on PTC sites, and Rev Share programs. I also have a Facebook page that has a signup link that goes to my landing page. I try to make all of my advertising go back to my landing page so that I can get customers signed up that I can email to anytime I like.
I also have a website that is generic in nature, which means I talk about how to make money online. I have links that go directly to my landing pages. I use several different landing pages, and I can track how many people signup from which page so I know the ones that work the best.
I use traffic exchanges to advertise my website and landing pages. I have found the PTC sites, Rev shares, and traffic exchanges work best with landing pages that are no more than a page that displays on one screen so no one has to scroll down; and that just asks for a name and email address.
More next time.
